Jay -The Boss
Hernandez was born and raised on Detroit's Southwest side where he picked up the art of barbering at just 14 years old. It all started as a bet on his mothers front porch and it turned into his life long passion. Jay graduated from Western international high school class of 2000 and attended Detroit barber college shortly after. He knew since the day he picked up a pair of clippers that that's what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. After graduating barber college in 2002 Jay went on to work at many different shops with many different cultures and hair types. He has expert experience in all hair types due to the great opportunities presented to him early in his career. In 2005 Jay decided to go on his own opening up "Jay Styles Barbershop" in Wyandotte. Coming from Detroit to the suburbs was a huge gamble but in life you miss 100% of the shots you don't take....the rest is history! Twelve years later Jay decided to re-brand the shop into "Limitless Barbershop" where it's not just about the haircut, but the overall experience you get that leaves you feeling like the world is yours when you walk out of Limitless Barbershop!
